Thanks to OOONA, I’m heading to Languages and Media – 2022!

Few months ago OOONA,  a software designer company for media localization from Israel, organized a contest and gathered ideas about improving their subtitling tools from fellow subtitlers around the world. The winner would have a chance to attend the Languages & Media conference in Berlin and all the expenses would be covered by OOONA. They announced the winner recently and guess who is going to Berlin?

Yes, me! 😀

Wayne Garb, the CEO of the company called me to give this great news and soon after he shared a post on LinkedIn.  I first attended this conference back in 2018 and and loved it.  It had widened my horizon. I had planned to attend the very next one but pandemic broke out and we all stucked. It was becoming almost impossible because of the sky rocketing  exchange rates in Turkey. But, who knew? 🙂
